Product Design Lead 

Quest Labs is seeking a product design lead to help us build the future of education. The ideal candidate is a master of human-centered design process, a generalist capable of working across all aspects of strategy, 2D/3D design and prototyping of new experiences. They are a ‘cross-system thinker’ capable of creating simple and informed platform-agnostic experiences that touch mobile, XR and everything in-between. What’s more, they should have a passion for gaming, learning, and working in a (remote) startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design simple, elegant, data-driven, user-centric experiences that delight users
• Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design
• Help shape the product strategy and vision
• Build functional prototypes to validate and test your designs
• Participate in user research and testing
• Look for opportunities to solve problems in unique and innovative ways
• Help maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experiences
• Mentor fellow designers and help build an inclusive and empathetic design culture

Requirements

• 5+ years working with modern 2D and 3D design tools (like Figma, Sketch and Blender) as well as experience working in game engines (like Unreal or Unity)
• A compelling portfolio of work (preference for social, collaborative or multiplayer experiences)
• A degree in human-centered design or equivalent
